Like them or not – NGOs are part of Civil Society and as such they, too, influence the way people think and feel. Ignoring or forgetting this fact can lead to unpleasant awakenings.
On the contrary, major brand owners have long realized this and have listened to criticism and proposals brought to their attention by NGO representatives. In fact, quite a few valuable industry (and even legislative) decisions implemented have their origin in such NGO documentation.
